Jason Yenter is a celebrated textile designer for In The Beginning Fabrics, known for his stunning quilt designs and richly detailed fabric collections.
With over two decades of experience, Jason’s work blends vibrant color, imaginative themes, and intricate motifs that inspire quilters around the world.
He’s authored numerous quilt books and is admired for his ability to turn fabric into storytelling. Whether you’re drawn to fantasy prints, elegant florals, or nature-inspired fabrics, Jason’s designs offer something for every creative spirit.
We’re thrilled to welcome him for a special two-day event — including a wine & cheese trunk show and a hands-on class where you’ll learn directly from the designer himself.

Sew Along Classes
Join our talented team of instructors in a journey with fabric and thread where your creativity will know no bounds.
Whether you’re a beginner or experienced sewer, our classes cater to all needs,
Monday's with Robyn 10am - 2pm cost $45
* Robyn, with her expertise in dressmaking, patchwork, and bag making, will guide you through the world of sewing, ensuring your projects have a professional touch.
Tuesday mornings - 9.30am -11.30am cost $25
Tuesday evenings - 5.30pm - 7.30pm cost $25
Thursday's with Anne 9.30 am- 11.30 cost $25
*Anne’s talent shines in all aspects of sewing, including hand embroidery, dress making and patchwork. Her skills will help you add a unique flair to your creations.
Friday's with Jo 9.30am - 11.30 cost $25
*Jo brings patience and a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of sewing, making her the perfect mentor for you next project.
Saturday's with Kez
*Kez, will keep you constantly inspired, with her knowledge of sewing will push the boundaries of what you can create.
Our classes are more than just lessons, they are a place to connect with others, and watch your creativity flourish.
Sashiko with Monique
Explore the art of sashiko weaving in this engaging workshop with Monique. Learn how to stitch foundation crosses and weave threads through them to create stunning patterns. In this hands-on session, you’ll craft a unique brooch to take home.
